Hi there!

I'm after a low power consumption SSD with a capacity of 128GB. Price isn't really an issue as they are all more less around a similar price bracket.
There are a few topics on this and as such am leaning towards a Crucial M4 as it seems to be very popular but all these topics are a bit dated.

Bar the Intel SSD's, there doesn't really seem to be much else. But these drives have been out a while now. So I am wondering whether to bite the bullet and go for one or if anyone knows any rumors of a "next gen" release worth waiting for.

Any info/opinions would be great!

By all means link me to any threads that would be useful.

Hi there,

If you look here SSDs in general don't use much power.

Personally, I would get a Crucial M4 as it is good value, powerful, reliable and doesn't use much power.

Cheers for the link Andi! Looking at the current special on the M4 here on OCUK I think I will go grab myself a deal!
