My grandson got given an HP Propdesk Small Form Factor PC from an office that was closing down. Happy as Larry he is, but he wanted to improve the graphics capability.
It has Intel HD Graphics 630 integrated. So I ordered a low profile Geforce GTX 1650, which from the various reviews seems to be about the best low profile card out there at the moment.
Unfortunately, it is low profile enough, but not slim enough. There is not enough room for the card to fit into the single PCI eXPRESS slot. The fans on the side of the card wont fit in because the power supply is in the way. All the low profile cards that I have looked at appear to be of a similar width.
I'm now considering taking the power supply out of the case and somehow hacking it onto the side of the machine, unless anybody has any suggestions please.
Thanks
