Low volume output on my PS Vita ?

I notice the volume on the Vita is very low! Especially with my headphones. Am guessing this is the EU protection that most audio products have to stop people taking them to court.

Any way, would buying a Fiio headphone amp boost the volume more? With my headphones, Bare in mind the vita only has a 3.5mm output and nothing digital

From searching the web it seems I am not alone and its a Vita issue and not my headphones.

Have you switched AVLS off in the settings menu?

Yeah, a FiiO amp will give a significant boost to volume. E06 would probably be the best choice due to it's size. What headphones do you have? Some require more juice than others, and can be harder to drive by such devices.

Yeah, they are easy to drive, so I'm guessing the Vita's volume is just not all that spectacular. The E06 can drive the Goldring NS1000s, which are rather picky when it comes to headphone amps.
