Lowest ever MPG reading

Got 180 miles out of 65 litres when I went on a track day in Bedford and that included driving there and back which was about 95miles. Approx 13 mpg

Never been able to get below 30mpg (tank average) on my Bandit :(

Managed 17mpg on a tank in a Pug 308 I had for a weekend earlier this year though

6 or 7mpg

WRT the idling measurements, I had my computer set to Range whilst I was idling talking to my ex and noticed that we had moved an entire mile without leaving the driveway :p

Doing it properly. Ie not like half the people in this thread.

17mpg to a whole tank on the road. Sure 10 or less could be aimed for on track! :D

I used to consistantly get sub 17 from my old BMW weekly :)
The 30+ i get from my Lude really opened my eyes to the money i was spending! (not wasting, spending :p)

I think 10mpg or thereabouts on the first road rally I did, in the 205. Very hard work that was.

12.8 mpg is the best i've managed on the A18 over the mountains on the isle of man, bloody boost is far too addictive. Normal manage just over 30 so you can tell how it was being driven.

turbo?

think thats about the only car i have driven that might actually be worse on fuel than the E60 M5! :p

Realistically is the E60 V10 really that bad? I'd have assumed given the nature of its power delivery that driven sedately you could achieve figures on par with other engines of similar capacity?
