LSI SAS 9211-8i. Does a SAS card support SATA trim commands?

Hi guys

Looking at the LSI SAS 9211-8i card, I can get these for cheap. It's a SAS card however and although it works with SATA drives just fine I'm not certain it would support the SATA TRIM commands.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Make sure it works with your board!

I bought an LSI Megaraid 9240-4i and my P8P67 Pro won't see it as a RAID controller.
