LTO Tape Drives and software

I assume the connection to the drive is differential scsi? have you got the correct card/terminator/cable?

If so is the card set to differential 160/320 or single ended?

The scsi card is an Adaptec Ultra 160 SCSI pci card.

It has 2 internal connectors -> SE Segment and LVD/SE Segment.

I am using the LVD/SE Segment.

The drive is a Freecom/HP tape drive with a Ultra 160 LVD scsi connection (Ultra3).

I am using the cable that came with it. It has 4 connections on it.

1. Connected the scsi card.
2. Empty.
3. Connected to Tape drive.
4. Termination block (already installed on cable- Block says SCSI LVD 320).

I am reading through the different manuals just now....

There is a jumper on 2 pins which is labled 'TERM POWER'. Has this got something to do with termination? I have not found anything in the manual about it.
