Lucid Dream

Lucid dreams are great, when I was little I used to have nightmares quite a lot - until I started becoming aware of the fact I was dreaming, not had any form of nightmare since then. 50/50 of my dreams are lucid still but its becoming less and less. Most lucid dreamers start from nightmares

Apparently you can train yourself to have lucid dreams.
If while awake upon entering a room, you switch the lights on and off, look at a clock and read something.
This way you get into a habit of doing this so eventually you will end up doing it in your dreams, and so i am told in your dreams, light switches don't work, clocks don't work and text appears scrambled, this way you know its a dream and then you can do what you want.
Some even think if you practice playing the guitar in your dreams you will get better at it while awake, no idea if there is any truth behind it (obviously you can't learn a new instrument in your sleep just improve on current skills)

Sure it wasn't a wet dream?

Thought this answer would come :P But 1st reply.... good work sir!

Yes lucid dreams exist and yes you can control them. There's a well good film done in a wierd and very specialised manner which I recommend. It regards lucid dreams and is a mindblower tbh.

Have them quite often, it is really weird, when you roll over and think I like this lets carry on and it does. ;)

Waking Life? (Although personally I found waking life really dull, with a few good moments)

Yeah I've had dreams were I've felt like I were in control. The first was when I was a child and I had this really wierd occuring nightmare then one night, I was experincing it again only this time it was as if I was controlling it. I guess it meant I had learnt how to overcome something.

Pretty wierd.

lol not Vanilla Sky. Thanks for thinking about it nonetheless. Its filmed in a kind of rotary cartoony style. Dont know how to describe it and think it might be based on a Philip K Dick story.

+1 with what sniffy said.
