Lulzsec!

You really don't want to do stuff like that... initiating a DDoS attack in the UK is punishable with upto 10 years in jail. (if it wasn't I'd have taken their site, IRC server, main proxies and twitter offline by now - its not exactly difficult to do).

Yeah, sure, because LulzSec would have taken you to Court with that  ;)

is it just me or does lulz look strangely like the anti ocuk site that was created years ago?

Conspiracy, innit?

No you wouldn't have.

Doesn't take much to DDoS a few sites offline - and even if I didn't have my own capabilities (which I have for completely legit reasons ~4Gb/s of bandwidth over about 60 different IP ranges) you can rent yourself a botnet very cheap.

Nothing to do with the lulzsec taking me to court, its illegal in the UK period. (tho I have no particular desire to go toe-to-toe with LS or the likes either - very intensive and time consuming staying on top of that).

its only the public front for the cia though thats not actually hosted at the cia..

some idiots still think they hacked into the cia and downloaded the whole database even though its not actually connected to the internet

IIRC the website was struggling more because of the number of people checking to see if it was being DDoS'd than the actual DDoS itself - as someone said early LS only have to post on twitter that they are targetting site <x> to pretty much take it offline atm :S

That's what an early article on BBC News hinted at as well.

To be honest one of the guys got rumbled 2 months ago. Messed with the wrong guy and got shown up for being an idiot and inadvertently released the details himself.

Check here for details:- https://th3j35t3r.wordpress.com/2011/04/07/if-ya-gonna-troll-do-it-right/ then ater that still went after the guy so got expossed yesterday https://th3j35t3r.wordpress.com/2011/06/16/quick-n-dirty-just-for-clarification/

Last night his twitter got a battering but due to his responses he kept on dropping himself in it. Obviously the kid's never worked in an office environment as he kept on bitting to every accusation. Best to keep you gob shut in these situation's.

After that you'd have thought you'd keep your head down but unfortunately not, though this whole LulzSec band wagon was a better idea. Bit silly really especially when you got a massive digital finger print all over the internet that anyone can pice together.

The address in the address bar had a red http with a slash through it when I clicked on that link. What does it mean?
