What happened to that racing game that was supposed to be getting released on Xbox Live Arcade? haven't heard anything about it in a while

I just had a mini rant there. I've never played Lumines but was happy as hell when I found out it was a tetris on steroids clone. Then I saw the details of the advance pack...
 
Really does suck, personally I think this is worse than EA charging for their guides and other content.

Hopefully someone may see sense.
 
Hmm tried the demo. Its WORSE than the PSP version imo. The graphics seem 'soft', like a jpeg that's been resized up and lost its sharpness. The pacing is off and the dpad doesn't perform well.

I am playing my fiirst game on challenge mode atm, on first game and just paused on Level 44 (game duration so far 26:39 !!)

I am switching through the stick and the dpad at the moment trying to figure out the best method.

So far I am impressed some of the new skins are nice. I have this on PSP as well. Sound efftecs are identical :cool:

Anxious to try out the other modes, will be on this for a few hours I reckon. Send me invites or messages if you want to try the multiplayer mode.

Edit: died straightaway out after the pause!! knew I shouldn't have taken a break to post this :D score is 192677 if anyone wants to compare. 1 million is gonna easily be like a 2 hour game or something.

I'm sucking quite badly, saw your high score last night and I'm going to need some practice to get scores like that!
 
Really enjoyed the trial, however 1200 points is a lot of money to squander on a game that won't be played asmuch as other titles.

It baffles me how this can be 1200 yet the classic brilliance that is Doom only costs 800.

You can download replay data of the time challenges of people in the Leaderboard and view them. I downloaded the 60sec number 1 rank guy's one. He got something like 123 squares in 60 secs, he plays so fast when you watch the replay! nice feature to give hints to people. My best is 60 blocks in 60 secs, need 70- for the achievement :eek:
