Ordered the Lumix TZ10 hasn't turned up yet but I have a voice in side telling me to send it back. Not sure why as it seems to have good reviews its just a lot of money for a camera.

Anyone have a TZ10 who might be able to calm my inner voice.

Is it worth the money.

Misses wants a point and click, I want something I can play with take some nice shots with and like the extra function this has

Love my TZ7. Just got it not too long ago so I don't see I will be getting the TZ10. But I would if I didn't have the TZ7.

G11 if something you want.

Actually best bet now is to get a Nikon 5000.

I haven't got one but I have had a TZ3 and used the TZ7 and can't fault them.

You will be more than happy with your purchase once it arrives :)

It is the perfect camera for a new photographer (ie me) that wants a class leading auto mode for point and shoot and the opportunity to learn about cameras via the full manual functionality. You made the right decision. The only factor would be that you could have got a tz7 for 100 quid less but you would have less manual options, no GPS and fewer megapixels.

Having said this though, some claim the sensor is too small for 12 megapixels so the image quality does not improve over the tz7.

Either way, i'm happy with my TZ10. Check out DPReview's Panasonic talk forum for more useful info.

Well it should be delivered on Wednesday. So I can play with it before deciding whether to keep it but so far I am being convinced

I got my Tz7 a week odd ago and its a fantastic camera and the HD movie mode is amazing. We shall see how total noobs cope with it as my parents are in egypt with it at the moment so will be a test for HD mode at pyramids and the ai auto mode with face recognition elsewhere :D
