Why is it no matter how much I say I will wait until lunch to eat my wraps or sandwiches which I make the night before I never do! And then at lunch I’m hungry and go any buy more!

I stick to 2500 calories a day and often leave myself short in the evening as I’m so hungry in the day…

I eat around 300 calories for breakfast then about 1500 between 9 – 5 and then around 400 in the evening! So strange maybe I eat out of boredom…

I'm on a watch what I eat diet at the moment. I too eat out of boredom. I now tend not to take a packed lunch, and go home for lunch breaks. I only work five minutes from home, so I do this. Stops me munching all day at work..

But, when watching DVD's, I can really eat some rubbish then...

Are you trying to lose weight, or in a physical job, or something? Do you need to stick to the "average" calorie intake?

If so, try taking some fruit as well as your butties.

Try having a more filling breakfast, such as Oats followed by some wholemeal toast perhaps?
More calories perhaps, but at least you will consume less throughout the working day then.

You could make a little fruit salad or pasta salad, very easy to do and you could have that before your sandwhich they are quite low in calories.

If you're hungry, eat. Just make sure you take more food with you. It's 11.30 and I've already had toast for breakfast at 8, a banana about an hour ago and just munched through half a malt loaf. That's no more than 700 calories. By the time I leave work I'll have finished the malt loaf, had another banana, an apple and a can of soup. That's still only about 1500-1600 calories altogether. Don't force yourself to have set meals at certain times. And drink water. :)

Try excercising self-control. ;)

i did when i went from 23 stone to 15 stone... and go to the gym everyday to tighten my lose skin.

still does not stop me getting flipin hungry all the time ;)

Are you drinking plenty of water?

It's a struggle at first if you're body's not used to it, but well worth it. in the longer term.

I have read somewhere that sometimes you eat because you misunderstand the messages that your body is needing water.

It also helps to make you feel more full

I'm on a weight loss spree and I NEVER make it to lunch time .. which is a good thing because it's shows your metabolism is working :)

I have my cereal or toast in the morning and then about 11 ish I have either a low fat snack or some fruit/carrot sticks then have my lunch about 12.30

I will then have a yoghurt in the afternoon and a balanced evening meal

I'm drinking loads of water and have also swapped my coffee from the vending machine to green tea ( apart from my 1st one .. I still need that :p )

My sig says it all , It's working :)

If I was eating only 300 calories at breakfast, I'd be starving too. Early morning is a time when you can consume more calories, although I'm obviously not suggesting you down a couple of greasy fried breakfasts.

Sitting there with a rumbling stomach does you no good. If you go to the gym, and even perform a modest amount of cardio, that doesn't leave your body a lot to play with energy wise. You won't get fat on 2,500 calories a day I'd have thought.

Yeah I know what you mean ;)

I only started drinking water a few weeks ago, when I was lucky if I managed to drink a litre in a day.

Now I'm up to five litres through the day, I doubt I'll go any further than that.

It's makes the drive home after work a little 'tense' sometimes towards the end if the traffic's bad :o
