Lunch never makes it past 10:30

Random, i dont eat breakfast and i've been known to go till 3 o'clock without eating anything.

I reckon its because you're thinking about it, looking at the time etc... take your mind off of the food!
 
Unless you are losing weight why torture yourself? Take some extra grub that is good for you. Youn kow, like a banana or an apple.

Works for me, but I am always bloody hungry...but I am trying to gain weight! ;)
 
I'm not obsessed with my own personal fitness, although I like to stay fit and healthy and not put on too much weight. I'm 6ft 3 and weigh about 13 stonne, and in the last week i've started (just for a few days mind) a cereal diet where I have Ceral for Brekkie and Lunch and sometimes for tea, although I normally make a Turkey or Chicken dish for dinner.

BTW slightly OT, but Turkey has more protein in it that Chicken, has less fat and costs a lot less...

In addition, I am mainly concetrating on exercising my abbs in time for summer! I do 100 sit ups straight, then 100 cross over sit ups, then 100 'karate' style punches.

The normal sit ups, (do these with your feet place on a wall and dont go all the way up) work lower abs, the crossovers work lower and left and right upper abs whist the karate punched (keep feet still and rotate at the hips) work upper and middle abs.

I know this has nothing to do with your OP but its just my 10p worth...

I got up at 07:45 and i had a pint of coke at around 1pm and thats it so far. Obviously not a normal day but you don't "have" to eat all the time.
If you were as busy as i have been today last thing on your mind would be food :p as sp00n says :)

Today i made a cajun chicken burger in bap at 11am, then again at 11.30am...

Now im going to a mexican restaurant in a few hours :)



I hate mexican, but its a mates birthday
 
Boredom is horrible for over-eating. I know that with my thesis write up and exam revision taking me in to mid june from now that i will be taking several food breaks a day from revision to eat :(
 
As Piggymon said it's a good thing you're hungry - it shows your metabolism is active.

As for the person who said he can go to 3.30pm without eating anything, well thats because he hasn't eaten anything and so his metabolism is crawling.

If you eat a lot BEFORE bed you will invariably wake up starving. :)
 
Snack on an apple or a banana at around 10-11... maybe some nuts/dried raisins type of snacks. I'd have a bit more of a substantial breakfast too. :)
 
I am very healthy yet killing myself because i don't eat enough, everyone wonders how i can still play basketball anytime and go the gym each night.

I hardly eat to be honest, nor sleep and it gets me down a lot and people say 'just eat, its not hard' is for me :(

If im hungary say at 2 i ould have an apple and be ok until 8, and thats with no breakfeast.

that's tough mate, i guess me and you are at diffirent ends of the scale and would both like to be in the middle!
