I bought one of these, put it in the oven and had about a third of it. They cost £3, I've had them before and they are absolutely scrumptious. Anyway, this one has been in my fridge, on a plate, and covered with the plastic mould that it came out of. It's been in the fridge for probably a good 10 days though, but with no visible sign of anything wrong with it and smells good still. Do you reckon it's safe to eat or must I bin it?

Surely the sponge has gone all hard?
You will be fine eating it though.

I think it's gone a bit hard, but microwaving it will soften it up, and the custard will soften it even more. :D Ok thanks, as long as it's safe, then I'll go ahead and if it's rank, I'll spit it out. :p

 the stuff is godly and addictive, syrup on anything. Toast, bread, pancakes, puddings, cornbread, popcorn. Anything and everything.

I put golden syrup on loads of things too :) I HATE honey so anything that should have honey in (except, obviously, things like joints of pork) I will put syrup on instead. Toast, porridge... Yum :D

Nope, I sometimes microwave my burger buns, because I like them warm and soft.

I grill the inside of each sliced half of those for about 30 seconds to lightly toast and crisp them up for my fried egg and cheese quarterpounder burger :)

Well done Glaucus you have converted somebody! :)

Oh it's not hard to convert me when sweet things are involved. :p

I'm with DrunkenJester on this one. They are just so incredibly sickly. I could manage maybe half of one of those tiny microwaveable ones, but struggle to do any more than that.

Eugh!
