Lynx Click was the mystery gift?

Mine arrived too - echo above, strange gift to recieve.
However - it is things like this that are worth money in the future, seriously.
They were never sold, you could only get one by going to the website and applying for one so there will only have been a finite number of them produced.
You wait - 50yrs time I'll be on Antiques Roadshow with mine :)
 
What is the appeal of Lynx?

The majority of the range aren't even anti-persperants or proper deodorants, they're just an unpleasent smell in a can :/.

Every bloody kid in school has a can and absolutely stinks of it, they really seem to think it will attract women too. Very strange

the scratch and sniff smells quite nice... tempting me to buy it! NOO crappy advertising has me again :*( Random gift, but then again a keeper. Roll on the future + money!
 
I got some Lynx Click t'other day when I went shopping (it was BOGOF so why not?) and it smells pretty nice - first time girls have actually asked what it is because they like the smell (used to use Pulse)
 
Not sure why there is such surprise at the gift... I thought it seemed fairly obvious - on the page where you signed up for it, if you clicked on something like "give me a clue", a clicker progressed by 1 and the woman held up a clicker thing and waved it for a few seconds.

No they're asking what the smell is because they are worried you may have disgraced yourself.

hmm got mine this morning also, i havent a clue what im going to do with it, maybe clock how many times i answer the phone in a day? or how many times i come to these very forums, or something stupid, like how many times i go to the loo in a day..but it was free, so its all good.

Dunno about where you come from but around ehre when someone says they like something they generally mean that they like something. :p

I stick to Lynx as it is the only deodorant/Anti-P that doesn't just coat me in a thin film of crappy white powder.

Until other brands can make their sprays work properly I'll stick to what I know :p
 
Got mine today too. Was quite confused at what it was through the bubble wrap, but i played with it for a few minutes and soon got bored.

It's like a Ye Olde Step Counter
 
I just got 2 sent to me somehow - probably when I was trying to see why the site was so mucked up for some - gonna keep one mint for the antiques roadshow in about 1000yrs :p

Ill use it to count how many times some prat annoys me at work...

Wasnt these meant to turn up the day before Valentines?

Every single woman I've spoken to about it has said that Lynx is the biggest turn off ever. They like men to have a scent, but not overpowering and certainly not one that can be smelt across the other side of a large room.
For about 3 months I had a student who'd walk along the corridor outside my office and spray himself with lynx, filling up the offices with its foul stench. After a month I was peeved, towards the end of 3 months I stopped him and asked him politely to stop spraying. When he still kept it up I stopped him and had a go at him in the corridor and did a straw poll of the girls walking past. That they all made retching sounds or similar when asked to say whether they liked the smell or not probably had more of an effect on him than my telling him off..
