Behind you... Naked!
I am asking this in the networks area, because this error ONLY ever comes up when I try to access the internet... No other time.

The full dialog error comes up with

The procedure entry point LZOpenFileA could not be located in the dymanic link library kernel32.dll

I have tried looking for a fix for this, but nothign really comes up clean.

I have tried several different REGFIX programs, but they have not helped at all, and I have even tried reinstalling Windows, and from different Instalaltion Media, but the error comes up all the time???

Why is this?

How can I cure it for once and for all??

O/S is Win2K SP4 on an old P3/500... An IBM 300GL actually with 128MB RAM

Thanks

If you reinstalled Windows, did it start with nothing else installed, or did it start after you installed something?

Cant pin-point anything, but it first comes up when I try to run the Windows update.

Come to think of it, I was using a Wireless card to access the internet through the router???

Router is a combo of a BT Voyager 205 and a DLink Router ( No modem job ) which is perfectly fine as-is and has never done this although I have never used the WLAN adapter either... The WLAN adapter I used ( Which I will try a different one tomorrow when I go back ) is an Actiontec.... Erm, thing?
