The following makes of m.2 adapter cards use a slightly non-standard screw to hold the ssd in place, and should you lose any of the screws, replacements are hard to find, or not available from the likes of startech! - they did however supply me the dimensions

Startech
Addonics
Lycom
Ableconn

and potentially a couple of other makes.

They are all essentially the same, I think it's Lycom that actually make the cards, and the others rebrand them!

An example of one of the cards in question is in the pictures below, and have the fixing kits as shown in the last picture

The screws they use (item on the left in the last picture above) have the following specs:

Thread width/size - 1.6mm (m1.6 is the listed size type)
Thread length - 2mm
Thread pitch - 0.35
Screw head type - flat, philips head
Screw head width/diameter - 4mm

I have some extra screws after having to source some for my own use, they are exactly the same as those specs above except the head diameter is only 3mm, they work, you just have to make sure they secure the drive correctly, some have larger notches in the end than others. When you put them next to the original screws, the head diameter difference is noticeable, but like i said they work.

If anyone needs any please send me a message via trust, please only ask if you actually need them, not to just add to your spares box!

Also please note, most motherboards and a number of other adapter cards use m2.0 or m2.5 screws, so these will be too small.
