Looking at the read and write of some I've seen they don't seem to differ much
From a normal ssd.????

What's the best bang for buck m. 2 I only need about 250GB for the OS and a few programs
Not much point of the.

I am looking at that drive too, but I have MSI Gaming 5 z97 and it has only gen 2 m.2 port so will not get the speeds :(

1x 2280 Key M(PCIe Gen2 x2/SATA) from manufactures website....

Remember to take write tolerance and warranty into account when deciding whether an SSD is good value. Especially if it's going to be your system disk.

Intels testing is very rigerous. I would not worry about any Intel product with regards to longevity etc.

Coming from Enterprise class they need to be very robust.

I think also the Intel drives are great bang for buck and readily available too.

Agreed, they do seem to get quite a good press. And available. Unlike the sami 960. :o
