Hi all,

I have an Acer Predator G3-793. I recently tried to switch the Windows install from the M.2 SSD to the 1TB HDD pre-installed in my laptop via a Windows Install USB. During that Windows install process, I formatted the M.2 drive thinking I could use it as a storage drive. Since then, I can't access the drive at all within Windows, it won't show up to create a usable storage volume with it BUT it is detected in the BIOS and Device Manager. It doesn't show up in DiskPart either.

Help please?

Windows on the HDD will make a considerable difference to your system ~ in a bad way. The M.2 SSD is way, way faster than the HDD so moving Windows to the HDD will severely slow your PC down. I would explore the idea of moving it back the way it was and instead just moving certain apps to the HDD if you are running out of space on the SSD.
It's very probable that Windows does in fact see it but it hasn't done anything with it. Try typing in Disk Manager in the Windows Search box and see if it is there.
