M.2 help

I just bought a new pc, it already has an m.2 SSD which is the boot drive but it's only 500gb, I have another m.2 SSD which is 1tb which was also the boot drive in my old pc. Can I easily move the old drive to the new pc and format it so it is no longer a boot drive? The mobo has 2 m.2 slots.

Yes just plug it.in, make sure original drive is set to boot first in bios. Then use disk manager to remove all the partitions on old drive and create and format a new partition.

You don't actually need to format it, you should be able to access it from the OS on the original drive even if you leave the OS intact (it's not encrypted, I assume?).
