m.2 nmve drive opinions needed

I have an asus maximus 8 ranger motherboard and it has a m.2 socket 3 type m slot. im looking for a 1 tb drive to put in it for gaming does anyone have an idea what is ideal for less than 200 GBP
 
Probably be better waiting for windows 11 to come out in 6 months. Ive seen they are saying the pcie x4 drives will work substantially better than pcie3 nvme with windows direct storage, but who knows until win 11 is actually released. Pcie4 drives cost a lot more though
In the meantime there is little difference in real world gaming gaming between ssd and nvme, unless you are upgrading from sata HD
