m.2 not recognised, Z97

Just installed a few new bits today, one of which was a Samsung 951 m.2 drive into the native m.2 socket on my MSI Z97M Gaming's mobo but unfortunately it seems not to recognise it, I was planning on using it as a boot drive and doing a fresh install of W10 onto it tomorrow but for now I just wanted to install everything and make sure it all worked, but it's not showing up. Neither is a Sandisk 512GB SSD I installed at the same time.

They show up in hardware monitor but they don't show up as recognised drives when I open file explorer.

Any ideas?

Edit: scratch that, for some reason the first time I entered Disk Management they didn't show up, just restarted again and now they're there

Some drivers need a restart

Make sure they are formatted and have a drive letter assigned to them and you should be fine
