Just reading up on M.2 PCI-E SSD (toying with the idea of one) namely the SM951 (NVME)
I read the article on Anandtech which went into detail of thermal throttling on the SM951.
Now I'll eventually be going down mATC route for a new build and majority of the boards have the M.2 connector underneath the GPU.
Was wondering if this would exacerbate the heat issues? And if anyone has been running an M.2 PCI-E SSD in a mATX board underneath a high powered card (R9/980 etc.)?
Cheers.
