hi i have asus tuf z370 plus gaming motherboard, i have 2 ssd and 3 hdd as storage on sata, i am thinking of either adding two m.2 drives and replacing the hdds or adding the m.2 for extra storage, my question is would adding m.2 either 1 or 2 of them affect my gpu performance, i have found differing information on the web, my cpu is 8700k with 16 pcie lanes, do the m.2 use these lanes thanks.....

The x16 lane slot shouldn't be affected by anything else you do in the motherboard's native slots.
