M.2 - SSD - HDD Game load time tested

I don't think i have seen anyone do a test like this before so its interesting

There isn't actually that much difference between an M.2 and a standard SSD, predictably the HDD is slow....

 
That’s cool always wondered the speed difference would be. 1 sec odds very good thanks for posting .
 
I've seen several video's like this, and comments on this forum that there isn't much difference between NVMe and SSD in game load times. But I still went ahead and brought two expensive 970 NVMe's, mostly because I could but also to reduce the clutter in my case.

Even after reading there wasn't a noticeable difference in load times between the two I was still a little disappointed when I finished my new PC, despite knowing better I still expected the PC to boot in a flash and games to just magically open.
 
Been done a lot and had you read through the Storage section you'd have seen a lot of people commenting SSD to NVMe is really only for benchmarks and has no real world value. Granted nobody made a shiny video but you're not uncovering new territory with this.
