What's the general consensus around these and are they particular ones to recommend? I have a QNAP TS-873A that I'm about to add some nVME drives too and such. I'm looking to order a PCI nVME card for the PC too.

For gen 3 m2 i didn't really worry about heatsink
Gen 4 yes would probably use them
Gen 5 definitely
I have 5 x m2
One doesn't have a heatsink Think it's Gen 4
Doesn't seem to be a problem
Though I have plenty airflow throughout the pc case
I would probably just get ones that have a heatsink already on them
I do like my Sn850x for example
