Mini PCI-E and mSATA are identical to look at, but the way they work is completely different. Unless you can get an adapter to make the port accept PCI-E - or an M2 SSD directly - then the only way you can use one is through an adapter in the PCI-E slot.
In short; unfortunately you can't unless you sacrifice the PCI-E slot.
