M4 SSD's in raid0

Hi guys!

Is it worth me having my M4 SSD's in raid0. i want them for windows and games.
I have a normal drive for downloads, pics, movies etc.

It will be on a this board http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3760#sp they use the newer Marvell 88SE9182 chip dont they?, which isn't as slow as the old one!

I have the same board with a Samsung 830 256Gb

I avoided raid because its plenty quick enough anyway, especially been as though your conventional hard drives can use the intel SATA ports meaning they are on seperate controllers.

Just ensure you change the marvell settings in bios to AHCI (there are two settings, one for the intel ich10 and one for the marvell one).

Corsair Performance Pro's are a better (if more expensive) option

they have the best background garbage collection which works in RAID0

So just use 1 for windows, the other for games?
