i once got stuck on the m6, no i didn't i used the toll.

M6 Staffordshire - M6 closed and delays southbound between J13, A449 (Stafford South) and J12, A5 (Gailey), because of a serious accident involving three lorries and five cars and recovery work. Diversion in operation - traffic to follow the black hollow circle symbol. Congestion on Southbound to J14, A34 (Stafford North).

M6 Staffordshire - Two lanes closed and long delays on M6 northbound between J12, A5 (Gailey) and J13, A449 (Stafford South), because of a serious accident and recovery work. Congestion to J11, A460 (Cannock).

I use the m6 from 16 to 21 and back again everyday and it's a piece of **** drive, hate it.

Saying that Stoke on Trent is also a crap place to drive A500 = carpark.

The least you could do is record your plight on your smart phone and post it here so we can laugh at you.

Maybe do a tour of some of the cars near you and interview the occupants.

The detour was even worse, some idiot on King street (between J18 & J19) rear ended someone, took an hour & half to get from one end to the other.
