On the profile it says the display is a television which seems to be a problem with a few macs. Trying to research.

Mines always said 50hz aswell, never found a way to get 60 :confused:

dont think HDMI will do full 3400x1440 resolution at 60hz

Just tried a friends 15" MacBook Pro with the Iris Pro chipset and it runs at 60Hz and is much much faster. It also had a better image quality on this LG 34". I can just dock the 15" and use that as my desktop machine plus can use it round the house when required.

Mmm, I could sell the Mac Mini and my 12" MacBook and get a 15" rMBP and an iPad Pro.

Decisions decisions!

I have been thinking to get a Mac Mini for a while and was going to ask how the 2012 one compared to the current version.

I think this thread answers the question though.

Prices seem pretty high for the 2012 on eBay but going to check out a few auctions.

They are really good machines. Best run at 1080p though.
