Mac Mini....core 2?

Does anyone know if the mac mini will be getting the core 2 duo instead of the core duo it already has?

would this be a big difference as im thinking of buying a mac mini with 1gb memory... but would be willing to wait until leopard is out... will they update the mini to core 2 duo when leopard is officially released?

I'm pretty sure Apple will eventually update the MacMini to Core 2 Duo by Leopard release, personally I think more Ram will help than a Core 2 Duo difference.

That's just my opinion, Apple might surprise us before then...

Average is about 20% better in every area, power, heat, performance...

Hmm, not bad. I'll probably upgrade from this Macbook to a Macbook Pro sooner or later.

Wouldn't be surprised if they up the Mini to Core 2 Duo when the iMac gets a Core 2 Quad later in the year. The Mac Pro's will go to dual Xeon Quad and the balance will be restored once again.
