Mac mini CPU upgrade possible?

As title really, is this possible or is it soldered to the board or something?

The CPU choices for the mini are:

2.3ghz i5 dual core
2.5ghz i5 dual core
2.7ghz i7 dual core
2.0ghz i7 quad core

Sadly though the quad core only comes with Intel graphics, if you want the Radeon HD 6630M your limited to either the 2.5 or the 2.7 dual cores, if its possible to upgrade the CPU I will buy one with the 2.5ghz i5 then upgrade it to the 2.0ghz i7 and eBay the i5. If its not possible I guess I will have to settle for the 2.7ghz i7

Aren't they soldered onto the logic boards?

According to iFixit, they are soldered on, so you're stuck really unless you buy a new logic board which cost big bucks. Kind of why Apple do it, no upgrade paths.

Thank you, damn that sucks, its a pity they don't offer the top CPU and the top GPU on the same system, maybe it gets too hot but oh well they just get less of my money lol
