Mac Mini Questions

Hi Guys

Thinking of buying a mac mini and connecting it to my tv as a media centre

1) Can the old G4's run plex? if not whats a good alternative
2) Most of them have a small HD can a good media application use storage on a NAS ?

put a 320gb drive in it .. add external if need be but any core duo will work on plex etc..
