Mac Mini

Looking to get the 1.66 core duo mac mini; big question is does it need the 1gig upgrade. I currently have a ibook with 1.2gb of ram so does the mac mini need it too. I figured the faster processors might help it out?
Any feed back would be great

I actually survived with 512Mb for 2 years in my 867 Dual G4.

going to 1Gb didn't do anything tbh.

512mb is fine for light use.

hmm im just worried as the ibook (only 1.2ghz) was very sluggish with 512mb; also im going to be using xcode a lot for my uni course so does that change things?

I'd say get a gb then.

I was running photoshop and iMovie a lot with 512mb, again I didn't really notice any diff but then it could be processor limited.

I'd say with a CD one get 1gb
