Hello all,
Took the plunge the other day and bought a apple mac mini while @ work in Las Vegas, now I'm a newbie to mac but been using pc's for 10 or so years.
Questions really maybe basically simple to most, but (a) I don't have the time to visit a 'Genius @ a mac store' (b) I don't think you have to be a 'Genius' to use a mac lol.
So first up is, my mac os x is a US version so can I still change the keyboard region etc so the '@' key is above the shift key not on the number 2 key? (My keyboard is a Logitech di novo, hence the option of Mac mini makes it easy to upgrade from an older system or set it up side-by-side with another computer. Just BYODKM — bring your own display, keyboard, and mouse.)
Second question is, I've installed 'Microsoft Office Mac' all works but I want to keep the icon on the dock (bottom of screen) for a quick start up of the program. I dragged the icons to the dock and 'Entourage' works fine from here, but 'Word' or 'Excel' doesn't.
Any tips appreciated, and many thanks in advance. Cheers
