Mac OS X Snow Leopard Up-to-Date Programme

Bit rubbish that it is only from 08/06/09 and the MacBook I bought a few months before isn't included! :(.

Really? You don't think that $29 is cheap enough? I thought you bought your Macbook just as the Unibodies were announced back last year, you can't expect the Up-to-Date programme to go back that far, surely, shirley.

Ordered. It had better be a standard full-install-able DVD and not some whack-ass upgrade-only deal.

I don't see why it would be anything other than an upgrade, but perhaps that's just me.

/edit - Hmm, I've thought about it and perhaps it would be a full version rather than an upgrade. I'm going to sit on the fence for this one.

It will be a DVD that will enable you to do a FULL INSTALL given that:

You already have 10.5 OR 10.6 installed.

IF you have a new, wiped HD in a laptop then you will have to install 10.5 first.

If you have a new HD in a Mac Pro/iMac then it should detect the old installation on a different hard disk.

Thats how the 10.5 up-to-date disk worked, as I have one for my Macbook Pro.

£30? In that case I don't care! Didn't even realise my MacBook was that old either, ignore me! Haha.

Feek is gay.

I too confirm this is how it works.

Thanks - that's good enough. A little hassle, but at least you can do a clean install.

It'd be nice if it could use your computer's Model Identifier string as a fast-track to skip that step.
