MAC Pro SSD upgrade

Hi all,

my old man has an Mac Pro from late 2009/2010.

Now I can’t get to his house to take a look and can’t see much online regarding it but he would really like to upgrade from the hdd to ssd.

could anyone recommend to me an ssd and I believe that for the Mac Pro it might need some sort of caddy?

Thanks and no idea on size I’ve not looked at parts for a long time, budget of around £150 so whatever gives him best value
