Not sure if anyone's tried this or has other software to do this, but one of my Mac owning friends wondered if you could stream stuff from the Mac to a PS3 without using XP/Vista on boot camp, i just found this for him. Not sure how good or what the free trial is like, but i thought some of you have macs and PS3 it may be useful.

Thanks matey, not really useful for me right now as the Mac and PS3 are plugged into the same HDTV, but it could be when I move ;)

No AAC though. :( Been waiting for this for ages aswell!

AAC is like 95% of my music in iTunes.

There has been 2 update within the space of it being out now!

Having a play with this now. Seems to work better than the 360 version they do. Might be down to the 360/ps3 though.

Anyone have a problem copying files ? Ive got an 8gb file and a 4gb file and neither copy properly. The length is reported wrong too.

I have both and after 2 or 3 weeks of using the PS3 version the only difference I have noted in terms of movie streaming/playback is that it takes my PS3 about twice as long to start the movie compared to my 360. i've had no problems with either software, they are money well spent :)
