Mac Window Resizing

I've played with a few Macs in Apple stores over the last few months and am I right in thinking that you can only size a window by dragging the resize gadget in the bottom right of each Window?

Might seem like a small thing but I can't see why it's so restrictive as I resize windows in MS Windows from the top,bottom and edges all the time.

You are correct, instead you can move a window by the chrome which is far more useful

You can get a program which makes your apps full screen, i have it bookmarked, but i'm on a different PC atm so i can't link it to you. If you are thinking of getting a mac and would like it i can put it up when i get back.

Thanks TCEuk but I'm not really that close to getting a Mac for some time yet. I want to see what the Intel PowerMacs are like before seriously considering it.
