Macbook 2017/Macbook Pro 13"

Sorry, being a little dense over the new 2017 Macbook & MBp.

I need* a new travel buddy, and I've been looking at the specifications of the Kaby Lake Macbook & MBP. The higher spec Macbook says 1.3Ghz i5 - would I be right in thinking that's the i5-7Y54 but at 1.3Ghz?

Would the 13" nTB 2.3Ghz with Iris 640 be the i5-7360U??

Are you doing anything beyond browsing, office and emails? If not, the MacBook is fine.

That's not what I asked Thanks though.

I already had a 2015 M3, 2016 m5 and a 2016 rMBP non-touchbar. Just trying to work out what processors are in them. Discovered EveryMac now so all good.

The 2017 Macbook processors are *insane* compared to previous years. The 2017 m3 is faster than the 2016 m7!!

Sat here on this - have to say it's a hell of lot quicker than I expected

Fresh setup so it's still encrypting, and yet I'm still getting this performance.

Performance has gone bat**** crazy.
