Macbook Air or Pro?

I'm looking to upgrade my current 2015 Macbook Pro. I only use it when I'm travelling for web browsing, email, Youtube and Twitch.

There's a refurb M4 Air on the store for £845. But I'm worried about the screen brightness. When I'm travelling on the train there's often a lot of sun glare through the windows making it very difficult to see the screen. So maybe I need the Pro?

I find the screen on my 2026 MBA is as good as my 2015 MBP. The 15” 2015 MBP to 15” MBA was an excellent upgrade and I remain extremely pleased. For your usage I would go with the MBA for sure (my use is similar). The 16” MBP is pretty chunky too…

Get the Air from Apple, try it out and if it's not bright enough, return it within 14 days and get the MBP.
