Just got back from the Apple store in Regent Street.
I asked about the Air running VM and Win7, the guy wanders off, then comes back and says "maybe you should try one of the Pro machines?". I said no (but had a look anyway to humour him!).
I asked to look at the Air models again and he started telling me how much easier and cheaper it is to upgrade a Pro (it was pretty chunky - def not one of the new models).
Anyway - really liked both Air 11" and 13" so really stuck now. Didn't realise the 11" comes with the same upgrade options at the 13" and Ivy Bridge CPU + HD4000.
In the end they said I would be better off using bootcamp if I need to use Win7, even after saying I'd opt for the i7 and 8GB RAM. Do these people know what they're talking about or am I too cynical!
Very nice machines btw.
