macbook airport and wireless security

Hey guys,

trying to connect to my wireless network but the mac seems to playing games and not connecting. Any issues with macs or is my network?

Using WPA-PSK security on the base station.

Try updating the firmware on your router.

Did you update to the latest Airport Security Updates? If so they could be causing the problems as other people have reported it.

Another way it to enter the password in System Preferences --> Network --> Airport Tab, usually fixes wireless problems for me

Do you have any further info on this? I updated my mac mini last week and ever since then my wireless has been shot! I have tried everything to get it working but no joy.

I performed the same update on my macbook and that is still working fine :confused:

Nope I'm afraid not, someone be it either Apple or someone independent will probably work out a fix. Try googling it usually that could be helpful in finding a fix.

It seems to work when you reboot the machine when it goes bad.
