Anyone found a decent bag or slip case for the MacBook? Ideally I'd like to be able to fit the power cable in there too without scratching the book. I've had a look around, but everything I've seen is either too big/heavy, or is far too 'in your face' to get away with using it for the odd business meeting :p

What kind of bag are you looking for? Just a slip case, or something larger with extra space?

They seem very difficult to get at the moment without buying from the US/Aus :(

To be honest, the ideal bag would be a slip case that could go inside a slightly bigger case. So I could lug just the book round, or the book + cables, without carrying round the giant laptop bags I use for my other machines.

There's a few crumplers that seem to do that, but they all look a bit 'wierd' and are obscene prices from the Mac shop :o

On a bit of a tangent.. does anyone use an external mouse with their Macbook? The USB ports are on the wrong side of the machine for my laptop mice to reach to the proper side of the machine, so I guess it will have to be a wireless one.. any recommendations?

Logitech V270. Two buttons with a scroll wheel and a decent optical sensor. Works nicely in XP via bootcamp as well.

(Note:Not tested with mega ultra FPS games so no whingeing about lag :p)

27quid including delivery is cheaper than I was expecting too.

Got my mouse yesterday, seems to work pretty well, but I get interference whenever I try and access my phone via BT. Have you tried doing this and do you have the same problem? Not sure if it's the mouse that's being spoony or my phone :)

No problems here using the mouse while Bluetoothing to my Sony Ericsson W810i or the previous T630.

Wierd, I did a search and didn't see that thread at all.. ta :p

i imagine that's because you searched for "Bag" and the existing thread is about "cases". ahh... gotta love the ambiguity of the english language.

Apparently it all arrived today :) Not a bad turnaround since I ordered from the US last week.

I don't think they can be classed as competitors? They are USA based.

Got a Tucano Second Skin for the MacBook this morning. Seems nice and snug and well made. Should do the job quite nicely to stop it getting damaged in another bag.
