Macbook CPU question

Hi there folks,

i think mums offering to buy me a macbook to replace my ibook,

just looking at the apple site now and its got the 1.83ghz and the 2.0ghz cpu's

Now just wondering is there much performance difference between the two?

as obviously i wanna save my mum the money

ill be doing mostly photoshopping on there and maybe some video editing and using it for website publishing etc.

Is it worth the extra money?

I'd say it wasn't worth the extra judging by the benchmarks, see here

My Mum's 1.83GHz has just turned up today. I'll compare it to my 2.0GHz and report back

BTW, they both have 1GB Ram which I think is far more important than CPU speed.

Spent the last day settings things up and installing software and it doesn't seem to be noticeably slower than my 2GHz. You can't get a Superdrive on the 1.83GHz though...
