MacBook Pro 15 video output

[Gangster]

Hi

Not very clued up on this so thought I’d ask here. This mac here;

https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/buy-mac/macbook-pro?product=MJLQ2B/A&step=config#

Has an hdmi port, does anyone know if it can output 4k at 60hz?

Or do I need to get the newer Mac to do this? Is this the 2017 version or 2016?

Anything user upgradeable with it (ssd/ram?)

Thanks

You could use a thunderbolt 2 to display port to run 4K 60Hz

Yea that's using Multistream transport mode, think he meant the HDMI port specifically.
