Macbook pro drivers

Hey does anyone know what type of wireless card is in the lateist macbook pro as it has stopped working within vista (and i want to play team fortress 2)

So my theory is new wireless drivers but i dont know what to search for....

(oh and it works within osx)

My firmware is listed as Broadcom BCM43xx.

Is software update in Vista not working? Also, have you looked in device manager?

Both nic's are flatly refusing to join the network or go directly on the net (in vista) so im trying out a manual driver update, which if it doesnt work a driver roll back could sort it out.

If not its a bit of crying, reinstalling vista and a lot of swearing (and a new appreciation for osx despite the lack of steam games) mainly as the traditional ways of making windows work arnt going too well.. (good old turn it off and back on again)

Well that was a depressing solution, uninstalling comodo firewall allowed me back on the net

Ah well cheers for the ideas everyone! (wasnt a hardware problem, just a vista being abit average problem)

Just enable Windows firewall which is good enough.

I agree. When I'm using BootCamp my security consists of Windows Firewall, Windows Defender and AVG free edition, add to the mix a little sensible Internet etiquette and you'll be fine.

Cheers for the advice, I just set it up like my old windows pc (but in a hurry as i had to go out back when i did bootcamp) which clearly was a bit of a mistake when i only use it to play games
