Macbook Pro evolution ?

Can anyone list there differences between the macbook pro's throughout the years please, specifically the difference between mid 2009 and current series ? Im looking to spend up to £1100 and buy secondhand.

Im buying it to write my dissy on as i need a portable with an excellent keyboard, but i can do photoshop and video editing on it too which is handy.

And do they have wifi built in or do i need a card for it ?

Wikipedia is a good idea! Stick to the unibody line if your buying second hand as they have the much nicer all in one track pad and the mid 09 revision (the one I bought and am loving now) is the revision they started putting in massive fixed batteries to give awesome battery life.

For 188 more quid you can push a brand new i5 15 inch mbp out of the higher education store (base spec 15 inch but still a quality) all the prices shown in this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18020062

Oh yeah and all macbooks (since the old imac or something) has come with a wireless card (apple call it the airport card) as macs pretty much come set up to go
