Macbook Pro Harddrive Upgrade

I can't see how old you are but my advice is, blag.

If you say you go to Uni you'll get the maximum amount of discount :)

(Assuming you're still in College/School and want the extra money off)

i am at uni, what i meant was, i don't think i can get a discount off the refurbed ones, because they are already discounted maybe?! not sure, i'll try ringing them up tomorrow and asking.

I can get the lowest 15" macbook pro for £1100, which is pretty good :)

and i don't think i really need the extra 0.2ghz and 128mb of gfx card (i hope)
 
Going to have the HDD upgraded in my mbp early in the new year. The repair centre I contacted stated that I could provide my own HDD but that it (the replacement HDD) obviously wouldn't be covered by Apples warranty. The rest of the system would be still be OK though.

BTW they wanted £75 +VAT to do the job.

:eek: For that price you'd be crazy to say yes.

Follow the iFixit guide, take time and save the £88!
