so once the battery is at 100%, the power will not be going through the battery itself but i will still be getting the full 2.33ghz and not 1ghz ?

You can of course change the energy saver settings if you want to get full performance on the battery

From looking at the pics? The Enter/Return key on the macbook pro looks tiny? or is it just the pics distorting it? If not, is it still ok to use/do you get used to it? Looks weird.

You do have to get used to it - but that generally goes with all new keyboards. Certainly not a big issue :)

Just my opinion
It took me a couple of days to get use to the MacBook's keyboard - especially the "P" key and the enter key, I'm use to just slightly tapping it and it'll be entered but on a MacBook, you need to press it more.

Not sure about the Macbook Pro...

Amateur ? You havent seen my 32" LCD, xbox 360, double bed!
Not bad for just my student accommodation in a house :D
Dude I have a 360 and double bed as well, and this is all in my room in university halls - my house next year isn't bought yet, but I'm not planning on downsizing :D

Btw - boasting is inverse to e-penis size, so I think we should stop incase any ladies read this thread and just lounge on our beds stroking our MBPs :D

haha, the missus hasn't seen the MBP yet, and she doesn't know about the 24" Dell, shes coming up a the weekend so im sure ill get another rolloking :D
but im just gonna say it was a birthday present to myself ^_^ hope it works!!

Will, what i mean is, i can leave the power lead connected to my macbook when im using it at home, and ill get the full power out of the mac, and wont damage the battery if leaving it on for long periods of time?
Just want to check before i think about selling the PC

Take out the battery when it's plugged in for a long time - that's what I do :)

Just don't forget you can't pull out the plug :o

Yeah but if there is no battery in the macbook runs at 1ghz not 2,33ghz?
or you mean bootup with the battery in, plug AC in then take battery out ?

If you do that the processors drop down to failsafe mode (I think it's 1Ghz), or they certainly did on the original MacBook.
