Just got a refurb Macbook Pro Core i7 from the Apple Store - advertised with standard resolution but actually came with higher resolution display - this was with 15% discount - so came in at £1529 - which is only £29 more than the base 15" Core i5 - but I got a Core i7 - and the bigger 500gb hard drive and also the higher resolution 1680 x 1050 screen - not bad for £29 extra...
